Rodrigo Gouveia focuses on negotiation training, facilitation and consulting.
Rodrigo teaches negotiation and hosts coaching sessions for a variety of audiences, including MBAs and executives at INSEAD business school. Examples of his negotiation projects include improving the negotiation capabilities of the procurement division of a large multinational, and valuing and facilitating the sale of a restaurant chain with a divided partnership.
Rodrigo was previously a management consultant with Bain & Company. As a consultant, he assisted the top management of a Brazilian financial group in tens of projects, diagnosing and mediating between different companies and business units. Previously, he was a project manager involved in producing a consensual proposal of joint financing for 32 scientific institutions from 13 European countries.
Rodrigo graduated in Genetics and Microbiology and post-graduated in Probability and Statistics at the University of Lisbon. He did scientific research in Lisbon, Amsterdam and South Carolina before earning a PhD in Evolution from the Technical University of Denmark, where he was a Post-Doctoral researcher. He published 10 scientific articles in international journals and a book, and has lectured extensively.
