Nuno Delicado is a Pluris founder and head of our Social & Public sector practice. He assists clients in both the private and public sectors develop capabilities and increase impact through effective negotiation, influencing and change management processes. Nuno also teaches negotiation and conflict management at INSEAD and at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (National University of Singapore).
Previously a management consultant with Bain & Company and McKinsey & Company, Nuno assisted firms in Europe, Latin America and Asia in diverse industries such as financial services, consumer goods, retail and apparel.
Nuno has extensive experience in the social sector, through a variety of projects in science, youth, sport, mediation and social entrepreneurship. He led international development projects in Timor-Leste and Afghanistan with the International Olympic Committee, and founded SportImpact, a social enterprise promoting peace and human development through the Sport for Life movement. He contributes to promote mediation with the Singapore Mediation Centre and other organizations and was a mediator at Singapore’s Small Claims Tribunal. He is also actively involved in developing social entrepreneurship, including as a lecturer in the INSEAD Social Entrepreneurship Programme.
Nuno graduated in Physics Engineering, earned a Master in Sports Management and an Master in Business Administration with distinction from INSEAD. He has also trained in Mediation and Dispute Resolution with New York University and is a master coach in Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
Experienced interacting with diverse cultures, Nuno has lived in Europe, the Americas and Asia. An accomplished athlete, he was four times Portuguese champion in modern pentathlon and has completed marathons and triathlons around the world.
